Pide (Turkish pizza) with chopped beef and ajvar

If you are fond of pizza or any other kind of dough, you will be nuts about pide. Pide, or Turkish version of pizza, is a soft dough filled with various stuffings. For this occassion, we have chosen a juicy combination of chopped beef and ajvar.

Barley and pindjur stew

To prepare this dish, you'll need a deep casserole dish that can be used for both stove- and oven-cooking.
Chop the onion into thin slices and braise it lightly in pre-heated oil. Add all ingredients except parsley, then add slices of dried tomatoes, cubes of fresh tomatoes, and large chunks of carrot.
